June 2010
On Wednesday 23 June Spire Cheshire Hospital were pleased to sponsor a coffee morning hosted by the Brainwave Charity.
Brainwave which opened at Birchwood One Business Park in October 2009 is an organisation that provides home therapy programmes for children with cerebral palsy or developmental delay.
Brainwave, founded in 1982, made a decision to open in Warrington because of an increase in the demand for regional services. The charity, which receives no Government funding, has a team of trained physiotherapists, therapists and teachers and by working with parents, the team can provide the relevant equipment and teach them exercises and social awareness skills.
The coffee morning was a great success and all money raised will help children with a brain injury, genetic condition or developmental delay achieve their full potential.
