I am a Consultant Ophthalmic & Vitreoretinal Surgeon at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.
I originally worked as an optometrist before qualifying with honours from University of Wales College of Medicine. I undertook general medicine training in South Wales, obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Physicians.
I trained in general ophthalmology in Southampton and the Wessex rotation. This was followed by Fellowships in vitreoretinal surgery in Southampton and Melbourne, Australia.
At Spire Cardiff Hospital I provide general ophthalmology consultations, specialising in cataract surgery and retinal diseases and their treatment.
