Mr Ghattaura qualified from University College London Medical School in 1995 and has trained extensively in London and in South Wales. Over the last 17 years of working in the field of Plastic Surgery Mr Ghattaura has worked in many prestigious Plastic Surgery Units in the UK including the Royal Marsden Hospital, Royal London Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Oxford Radcliffe Infirmary. As well a gaining valuable experience of breast surgery in Harley Street, London, he has also trained at the internationally renowned University Hospital Ghent, Belgium.
Mr Ghattaura is currently an NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon based in South Wales with a specialist interest in Breast Surgery. He is the Clinical Lead for Microsurgical services and has a specialist interest in breast reconstruction using DIEP flap / TUG flap following cancer surgery. He is also the lead for Super-Microsurgery services including lymphoedema surgery. As well as reconstruction, Mr Ghattaura also undertakes all forms of cosmetic breast surgery service including breast augmentation, reduction / uplift and gynaecomastia surgery. He also provides a comprehensive Cosmetic Surgery practice including abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck), weight loss surgery (arm, thigh and buttock lift), liposuction and facial surgery (facelift, browlift, rhinoplasty, eyelid reduction).
