I carried out my initial medical training at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in London. I then worked in London for a year prior to starting my senior house officer training in Cardiff. My registrar cardiology training started in Cardiff and Swansea with a year spent specialising in coronary intervention in Southampton, Toulouse and Newcastle.I obtained my Doctorate on the influence of fatty meal ingestion and vascular funtion, with ongoing reseach interests in coronary artery disease. I am currently a consultant interventional cardiologist based at the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital.
My hobbies include golf, cycling, football, walking and watching rugby.I have read and travelled extensively with a keen eye for the unusual.
