Soles of feet on a beach

At Spire Cardiff Hospital, Mr Andrew James specialises in painful feet with a special interest in the treatment of chronic heel pain, bunion and forefoot pain and biomechanical management of adult and paediatric-acquired flexible flat-foot deformity.

Painful foot conditions can be treated by multiple approaches, therefore surgery may not be the only option. With a comprehensive understanding of the patient's requirements and condition, a treatment programme will be devised with details of both the non-surgical and surgical options for the patient's consideration.

Most patients require either two or four treatment units. However new patients almost always require four units but this will also cover the cost of all insoles, etc.

  • One treatment: £55
  • Two treatments: £110
  • Three treatments: £165
  • Four treatments: £220

Mr James performs the following non-surgical treatments:

  • Heel pain (plantar fasciitis)
  • Arch and forefoot pain
  • Injection therapy for joint pain
  • Biomechanics (functional orthoses)
  • Ultrasound guided injection therapy
