Spire Cardiff Hospital was delighted to recently receive the Spire Healthcare award for Overall Clinical Quality. Head of Clinical Services Sarah Lloyd –Davies says, "This is an award all the clinical team within the hospital have contributed to by delivering exceptional clinical care. Spire Healthcare is a large national organisation and for Spire Cardiff Hospital to be recognised in this way makes me very proud of my clinical team and the achievements they have delivered throughout the year. This is a huge accolade for us as a hospital."
Spire Cardiff Hospital is not new to receiving such recognition within the clinical arena. The hospital won a Laing and Bussion award for Medical Practice in 2012 in relation to Mr Rhidian Morgan-Jones’s orthopaedic work on ‘Infected joints and chronic osteomyelitis’ and were also shortlisted as a finalist in 2013.
