Arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of the shoulder
All shoulder conditions including rotator cuff, instability, sports injuries and arthritis
Elbow conditions including tennis/golfers elbow and nerve compression
Hand conditions including carpal tunnel syndrome and Dupuytren’s disease

Dai grew up in Neath and qualified from Cardiff’s University of Wales College of Medicine in 1997. His basic surgical training was in South Wales, his higher surgical and speciality training was at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire’s renowned orthopaedic department. In addition to his surgical training he also attained an MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering. In 2009-10 he furthered his speciality training with a year-long Shoulder and Upper Limb Surgery Fellowship in Adelaide, Australia.
On return from Fellowship he was appointed Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist interest in Shoulder and Upper Limb Surgery at the Royal Glamorgan University Hospital.
Dai ensures his treatments and surgical techniques reflect the current best practice via research studies, ongoing educational activities and by attending regular speciality training courses.
He is a trainer for Orthopaedic surgeons and he lectures and teaches at regional and national meetings.
