Professional Andy Lane has a wealth of experience in the sporting domain as a bike fitter, sport scientist, coach and athlete. He has worked alongside numerous world class individuals in his field ranging from medical experts to other coaches and athletes. These experiences combined with his educational background have allowed Andy to build a strong foundation of practical and theoretical knowledge. He understands the need for a balance between performance and comfort and has a keen interest in helping performers achieve the best possible fit by minimising the risk of injury.
PersonalAndy has competed internationally in triathlons and regularly competes in local events including cycling and multisport races. For example, he has competed in and achieved numerous victories and podium places in cycling events in the UK and around Wales such as the Ras de Cymru (which includes his infamous 5th placed ride in the prologue on his sub £100 built bike). In 2011 he completed his first Ultramarathon and had not even run a marathon prior to this race. Andy enjoys a variety of team and individual sports spending time with his friends.
