More about Dr Richard Anderson
Dr Anderson carried out his initial medical training at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in London. He then worked in London for a year prior to starting his senior house officer training in Cardiff. Dr Anderson registrar cardiology training started in Cardiff and Swansea with a year spent specialising in coronary intervention in Southampton, Toulouse and Newcastle.
Dr Anderson obtained his Doctorate on the influence of fatty meal ingestion and vascular funtion, with ongoing reseach interests in coronary artery disease. He is currently a consultant interventional cardiologist based at the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital.
