Mr Roger McPherson is Consultant Ophthalmic and Vitreoretinal Surgeon at the Cardiff Eye Clinic and the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.

Mr McPherson qualified from Southampton University Medical School in 1986 and joined the British Army on a short service commission to begin training as an ophthalmologist. He was an ophthalmology registrar in Cardiff and Swansea, before undertaking a vitreoretinal fellowship in Melbourne.
