Professional profile:

I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon employed by the Bro Taf Health Authority which covers the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant and Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil. I trained in Oxford, Bristol and Melbourne, Australia and was previously an Arris and Gale Lecturer for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Prior to my current appointment, I was a Consultant ENT Surgeon in Hereford and latterly at the Security Forces Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I additionally held the honorary position of Consultant Clinical Lecturer to the King Saud University Hospital and was examiner for the final Examination of the Saudi Board in ENT.

I have particular interests in the specialty of reconstructive surgery of the external and middle ears.

Personal profile:

I have, in the past, worked in Germany, Australia and the Middle East. I enjoy travel and the opportunity to experience different lifestyles.

I enjoy listening to a variety of music and plays jazz clarinet. My main hobbies, however, revolve around computers, motorcycles and skiing.
