Professional profile:
I have been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the University Hospital of Wales since 1995. Prior to that my training involved attachments in Oxford, Liverpool and Cardiff. My gynaecological practice is focused on the care of women with benign conditions such as prolapse, problematic bleeding, fibroids and pain.

I am part of a team providing care within the Gynae-Endocrine Clinic at the University Hospital of Wales. This clinic specialises in the care of women with menopausal problems. However, we also see women with hormonal, and non-menopausal conditions, such as pre-menstrual syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility.
