Background Information

Professional profile:

My subspeciality interest is in gynaecological cancer surgery, which was developed through my research interest in the immunological reaction to cervical precancerous and cancerous changes in the body, at the University Hospital of Wales.
My obstetrics and gynaecology training has taken me around the hospitals of South East Wales, and my subspecialist training in gynaecological cancers was based at the Welsh Regional Centre for Gynaecological Oncology in Cardiff.
I have an interest in minimal access surgery and have developed the first pelvic mass clinic in Wales to accelerate the management process of these patients.
I am currently the clinical audit lead for the department and I also regularly teach on postgraduate courses around South Wales.

Personal profile:

I am of Malaysian Chinese descent and have made South Wales my home, where I am married with two lovely children and have cultured an interest in gardening.
