    Based around the Spire Breast Clinic run weekly on Wednesday evenings at Spire Cardiff Hospital. I offer a comprehensive service including the following facilities:-
    Multi disciplinary team approach
    Rapid diagnosis of all breast-related problems by triple assessment using the latest techniques of breast imaging and needle biopsy.
    Sensitive and patient orientated counselling about treatment options for breast cancer and a full range of the surgical procedures involved.
    Reconstruction following mastectomy using subpectoral tissue expansion, latissimus dorsi and TRAM flaps as appropriate and contralateral procedures if indicated.
    Advice about non-cancer breast problems including mastalgia, family history, congenital asymmetry and cosmetic procedures.
    Breast reduction, augmentation and other aesthetic breast procedures.

    I was appointed as Consultant Surgeon in Cardiff in 1989 with specific responsibility for developing the surgical aspects of the breast screening programme at Breast Test Wales. I have subsequently been closely involved in the development of the Cardiff Breast Unit based at the University Hospital of Wales, Llandough and Velindre Hospitals for which I am the lead Breast Cancer Clinician, and for gaining accreditation for the Cardiff BUPA Breast Clinic. I regularly teach on the Royal College of Surgeons advanced breast reconstruction course.
