Having had extensive experience in general surgery I trained in urology in many prestigious units throughout the country. I completed my training in the Royal Marsden Hospital.  

I have now been a consultant urological surgeon for 17 years and have extensive experience in all aspects of urological problems. I have developed services over the years and provide multidisciplinary networking so that the patient has the best possible treatment. 

One of my main interests is in male health and erectile dysfunction. I am a member of the British and European Societies for Sexual Medicine and a Committee member of the Welsh Society. I am therefore up to date with latest developments and have links nationally for difficult cases. I provide a Welsh national service for penile problems and implant surgery.        

I have also always had an interest in incontinence and functional urology. I provide a urodynamic service locally giving advice and treating difficult bladder problems.

Born in Swansea and interested in how the body works I went to London to become a doctor. This enabled me to see the outside world and meet many interesting people. I love talking and discussing all aspects of life. I am interested in astronomy and the big questions of science. I am also a keen amateur photographer and interested in post image processing. I have one son who tells me what to do and a great secretary who sorts everything out.
