Background Information

Professional profile:

I carried out my initial medical training at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in London. I then worked in London for a year prior to starting my senior house officer training in Cardiff. My registrar cardiology training started in Cardiff and Swansea with a year spent specialising in coronary intervention in Southampton, Toulouse and Newcastle.

I obtained my Doctorate on the influence of fatty meal ingestion and vascular funtion, with ongoing reseach interests in coronary artery disease. I am currently a consultant interventional cardiologist based at the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital.

My hobbies include golf, cycling, football, walking and watching rugby.
I have read and travelled extensively with a keen eye for the unusual.
