I run the only NHS consultant lead clinic for weight management in Wales. Over the years, I have aquired considerable skill on tackling the problem of obesity. I lead a dedicated team of professionals, and my approach therefore is multi-disciplinary. I participate in many international, regional and local as well as organising symposia on obesity. This has enhanced my understanding and skillful approach to tackling obesity. I have worked hard to develop this keen interest which complimented my wide experience in gastroenterology and clinical nutrician. I became an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and a member of both the British Society of Gastroenterology and the British Association of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrician.

Having worked closely with dieticians and clinical psycologists, this has enabled me to provide a unique, skilful and successful approach to my patients.

I practise and maintain healthy living. I thoroughly enjoy exercise and I am an enthusiastic runner. I thoroughly enjoy cooking. I consider myself an expert on healthy mediterranean dishes.
