I qualified in the University Hospital of Wales in 1990, I under took my training in Rheumatology in London, obtaining a PhD in systemic lupus erythematosus at the Imperial College (Hammersmith campus) in 1997. I was accredited with CCST in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine in 2002. I was previously a Consultant Rheumatologist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and Barnet & Edgware Hospitals before returning to Wales to take up consultancy at the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital.
