Professional profile:

I graduated in Medicine and gained my MD at the University School of Medicine of Palermo (Italy) in 1996. After general training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University Hospital of Palermo I moved to the UK. Between 1999 and 2000 I attended Cardiff Assisted Reproductive Unit as Honorary Clinical Assistant and afterward I was appointed as Research Fellow for the following three years.
In 2003, I was appointed as Consultant in Reproductive Medicine at SISMeR, Reproductive Unit, Bologna (Italy).
In 2005 I joined the team at the Isis Fertility Centre in Colchester as Fertility Specialist.
Since 2007 I work as Consultant in Assisted Conception and Clinical Quality manager at the Heath Hospital, IVF Wales and as Clinical Lecturer at Cardiff University. I am author of several international publications; speaker at international conferences and peer-reviewer for many journals in the field of Reproductive Medicine.

 

Personal profile:

I am married have two young children. I enjoy travelling, cooking and shopping.
