Currently employed as a Consultant in Cardiff and Vale UHB in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Typical working week involves care of women in Outpatient clinics, wards and performing major Gynaecological operations such as Hysterectomy as well as intermediate and minor procedures by vaginal, laparoscopic and abdominal approach. Apart from providing care in all aspects of General Gynaecology, offers specialist services in surgery for Uterovaginal Prolapse, Urinary incontinence and Disorders of perineum.
Basic Gynaecological and surgical training mostly in North West region of England followed by a Specialist registrar rotation in South Wales. Received training in Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists’ special skill modules on Urodynamics, Urogynaecology and Trans Vaginal scan.
Married with two children. Interests outside work include Music and Badminton.
