The Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence at Spire Cardiff Hospital has 16 highly specialist orthopaedic surgeons, many with international reputations, as well as nine leading physiotherapists.
With a specialist in every field, patients at the new centre can expect treatment and aftercare of the highest possible quality, whether for a hip replacement, knee surgery or any other joint treatment.
In order to qualify as a Centre of Excellence, the orthopaedic centre at Spire Cardiff Hospital has had to meet rigorous standards in three key aspects; clinical quality, education and research.
All physiotherapists and orthopaedic nurses at the centre are also trained to a level where their specialities reflect those of the consultants. They are also supported by a team of consultant radiologists, specialising in muskulo-skeletal imaging.
