Andy has gained a range of experience whilst working as a physiotherapist for the NHS, Ministry of Defence, in private practice and in private hospitals. He also sent a year in Australia where he worked in a private healthcare company in the Melbourne.
Andy has always been an avid sportsman and continues to combine both work and sport. He has worked with both recreational and professional athletes in many sports such as football, ice hockey, athletics, cycling and triathlon and has worked on a full time basis for London Irish RFC and British Basketball. He has also completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy and has researched the effects of shoe-pedal interfaces on cycling biomechanics.
At Spire Cardiff Hospital Andy treats all musculoskeletal conditions, but has a particular interest in cycling and rugby injuries, and specifically lower limb biomechanics. Andy is also 8 years trained in acupuncture.
