What to expect before weight loss surgery

Once you make the decision to have weight loss surgery, our dedicated support team at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital will be with you all the way. This is what patients can expect to happen before surgery:

  • an initial consultation with your Surgeon
  • a consultation with Dietician
  • a multidisciplinary team will meet to review the case
  • you will have a pre-assesment with specialist nurse including a range of tests
  • your surgery will then be booked.
