Background Information
Professional profile:

Qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2005 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Propelled straight into the world of sport becoming physiotherapist at Loughborough University for both men’s and women’s 1st football teams and subsequently physiotherapist for British University Sports Association covering national and international multisport events. In 2008 became lead physiotherapist for the Great Britain Handball teams helping them to compete at the London 2012 Olympics. Since the Olympics have been studying for a masters in Sports Injury Management at Sheffield Hallam University whilst working alongside TASS athletes at the university physiotherapy clinic. Currently actively involved with the GBR Boxing Association and RFU U15 squads providing match and tournament physiotherapy cover.

Working at Progress as Specialist Sports Physiotherapist to collaborate with and work alongside Cris Kellett and Professor Cathy Speed. As a former elite level ice dancer and now a competitive triathlete and duathlete representing Great Britain, I have a great insight into the commitment and dedication required to be an athlete and feel this along with being a qualified figure skating coach enables me to be an empathetic but challenging physiotherapist.

A huge sports enthusiast specialising in musculoskeletal medicine and enjoy working holistically to understand each patient’s needs in order to determine correct diagnoses and ultimately successful treatment. Utilise a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue and acupuncture techniques as well as sports and kinesiology taping but most importantly rehabilitation! I thrive on challenging my patients to understand their bodies and seeing them progress to the next level.
