Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Mr Andrew “Fred” Robinson, opened the doors to his new Foot and Ankle Clinic at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital on the 3rd January 2012.
Having moved his practice to one of the region’s premium private hospitals, Fred Robinson is looking forward to developing his expert foot and ankle surgery service at a facility that will provide his patients with quality clinical care.
Fred, who has an international reputation for his foot and ankle surgical care has contributed to various medical textbooks and has now published over 30 articles referenced on PubMed.
He ran the foot and ankle service at Addenbrooke’s from 1999 and has recently finished his year as President of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgical Society.
Fred’s clinical practice covers the full range of foot and ankle surgery. He treats both trauma and orthopaedic conditions of the foot and in the National Health Service.
Fred undertakes a full range of orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery and he is developing a minimally invasive forefoot service. Fred recently launched minimally invasive bunion removal surgery at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital where patients can be treated with the very latest technique. He undertakes surgery for sporting injuries, both arthroscopic and open, to the foot and ankle and also undertakes ankle replacements for ankle arthritis.
