The BBC1 documentary Life Savers ran as a three part series over 3 weeks.
The program, based at the brand new major trauma centre at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge follows the real life drama of the front line emergency medicine services from life-saving surgery to recovery.
The series focussed on serious accidents including spinal injuries, orthopaedic hip and knee injuries, cranial (brain injuries), fractures, internal (general surgery) injuries and facial jaw injuries.
