Consultant Plastic Surgeon Mr Michael Irwin has been listed as one of the top 30 cosmetic doctors in Dr Mark Porter’s guide in the Times newspaper today.
Following the reported findings of The NHS Medical Director, Professor Sir Bruce Keogh’s review into the UK’s cosmetic surgery industry Dr Porter’s guide in the Times lists tips to help patients avoid surgery with unregistered and poorly qualified practitioners and to receive care and results from some of the best in the country.
Local Cambridge surgeonMr Michael Irwin is listed as one of the top surgeons for cosmetic breast surgery. Mr Irwin whose private practice is predominantly at the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital, one of the region’s premium private hospitals, treats patients for all cosmetic procedures.
Mr Irwin, also previously listed in the London Evening Standard holds his NHS post at the world renowned Cambridge University Foundation Trust Hospital (Addenbrookes) and first qualified in 1987. He is a member of the Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the British Microsurgical Society, the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS).
