Lisa first started working at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital in 2001 as a Hostess looking after the hotel services needs of our patients and their visitors during their treatment stay.

Following Lisa’s role as a Hostess, she moved on to work as a Receptionist as part of the larger administration team.
Lisa’s career at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital then progressed to working as an Administrator in the nursing team where she was accountable for the smooth co-ordination of general admin tasks that support our patient’s care.
To gain further experience, Lisa had the opportunity to develop her skills further and worked for a consultant as a medical secretary.
After the birth of her daughter, Lisa then returned to the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital where she is now a member of the Bookings team, assisting in booking transactions for various clinics and treatment services.
Working in a non clinical role at the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital has helped Lisa develop her customer service skills, her knowledge of healthcare and working relationships with others such as consultants, GP’s, patients and suppliers.
The hospital has a wide range of administrative / customer service roles and Lisa has been able develop her career with Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and now Lisa is undergoing further training and is working towards an NVQ3 in Business Studies.
