Meet the weight loss team at Spire Bushey Hospital

Our bariatric team at Spire Bushey are very experienced and work together to ensure the best treatment options and care for all patients, both before and after surgery.

The weight loss team at Spire Bushey Hospital consists of three Consultant Bariatric Surgeons, a Specialist Bariatric Nurse, and a Specialist Bariatric Dietician. The bariatric team is also supported by an extended multi-disciplinary team including Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, Radiologists, Psychologists and Physicians.

Our specialist dietician is Gill Cuffaro and our specialist nurse is Kirsten McDougall. Together the team will support and direct you on your weight loss journey.

Weight Loss Surgery Support

Spire Bushey Hospital hosts a bariatric support group for those considering or undertaking weight loss surgery. The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at the hospital.
