I have a busy private menopause and general gynaecological practice. My private office and secretary are based at Spire Bushey Hospital, where gynaecological inpatients are admitted, and gynaecological outpatient appointments are held.

I qualified from Guy's Hospital Medical School in 1979 and proceeded to train at Southampton, at Queen Charlotte's Maternity Hospital and then as a registrar and senior registrar at Guy's and at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.

I retired from Watford General Hospital in May 2015, having spent 24 years there as a consultant and am an examiner for the final membership examination of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
