Mr morcos qualified from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt in 1977 and obtained post-graduate training in the UK. During his training he worked at University College Hospital (UCL) and Queen’s Charlotte Hospital and gained extensive experience in both fields of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Mr Morcos passed the MRCOG exams and become a Member then a Fellow at the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (RCOG).
Mr Morcos is currently a senior consultant at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust. He is the lead consultant in gynaecological cancer for the trust. His special clinical interests include minimal access and vaginal surgery. Being a BSCCP accredited colposcopist, he is heavily involved in the cervical screening program and provision of colposcopy service for women in North London.
In recognition of his significant involvement in teaching undergraduates, he was awarded Honorary Clinical Teacher in the Department of O&G by UCL. He is also a member of the RCOG national and international Hospital Recognition Committee.
