Miss Faye Barampouti is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Spire Harpenden and Spire Bushey Hospitals, whose NHS practice is based at Watford General Hospital and St Albans City Hospital. She is a general ophthalmologist and her special interests include small incision refractive cataract surgery, as well as strabismus (squint) surgery and paediatric ophthalmology.
Miss Barampouti's subspeciality training was acquired during her fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and King's College Hospital. Her surgical and clinical skills were acquired during her training in the UK (South East) as well as Athens, Greece.
In her practice she enjoys spending time with her patients and she is very approachable. She loves her surgical as well as clinical work and makes sure she gives the best care and attention to every patient.
