    Professional profile:
    I qualified from the Royal Free Medical School, London in 1973 and subsequently trained in general and respiratory medicine. I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 1983.

    I am a consultant respiratory physician at the Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals.

    My private practice is based at Spire Bushey Hospital where I see outpatients and inpatients.

    I am trained and have extensive experience in the diagnosis, management and treatment of all respiratory diseases including asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, lung cancer and occupational lung diseases. I have a particular interest in sarcoidosis and allergic disorders including asthma, food and drug allergy, urticaria, rhinitis and venom allergey. A full diagnosis and treatment service is offered for these conditions. The majority of diagnostic tests, including bronchoscopy, are carried out at Spire Bushey Hospital.

    In my spare time I enjoy gardening, opera, ballet, travel and scuba diving.
