Spire Bushey Hospital features on BBC News video report on varicose veins

5 February 2013

Two patients of Spire Bushey Hospital and consultant general and vascular surgeon Mr Sanjeev Sarin are featured in a BBC News video report on varicose veins.

The report focuses on varicose veins and how they can be treated less invasively using laser surgery, which works by heat-sealing damaged veins from the inside. The procedure allows patients to be back on their feet and return home the same day.

BBC World filmed the report at Spire Bushey Hospital, featuring two of Mr Sarin's patients - one who has already had the procedure, and one who is shown in hospital having the procedure.

You can watch the video report on varicose veins featuring Spire Bushey Hospital patients and consultant Mr Sanjeev Sarin on the BBC News website.
