Background Information 
Professional profile:
Between 1973 and 2001 I have served as a general NHS Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon at local hospitals including Northwick Park Hospital, Watford General Hospital and the Central Middlesex Hospital Group. I have had on-call commitments, as well, during that period to Mount Vernon and Hillingdon Hospitals. At the same time I have engaged in private practise at Spire Bushey Hospital, the Clementine Churchill Hospital, and the Garden Hospital. Since 2001 I have been in full-time private practice at the same hospitals, and at my private consulting rooms in Harrow. I also provide an Ear, Nose and Throat service for the Casualty Plus Treatment Centre in Brentford, and consult in the 'trustplus' Healthcare consulting rooms at Northwick Park Hospital.

My current clinical interests have turned increasingly to medical aspects of otorhinolaryngology. I welcome audiological problems, including hearing difficulties, balance disorders, and tinnitus management. I have an interest in skin problems of thew external ear, including otitis externa and difficulties with wax. Nasal obstruction including nasal allergy, paediatric problems and voice disorders are also dealt with.

As I am in full time independent practice I am happy to do domiciliary visits and am usually available for emergency consultations.
Personal profile:
I have lived in Harrow since 1974, and have also worked locally since that time.I am interested in community affairs, including our local residents' association. My wife is the director of a Music Institute, which I have supported for years in a 'non-musical' way. I am interested in humour, especially 'medical humour' and have given several humorous talkson medical subjects to the public. I enjoy solving problems, and have a keen interest in 'do-it-yourself' projects.
