Mr.Cullen graduated from University College and Middlesex Hospitals in 1993 and trained in hospitals in London and Cape Town before taking up his Orthopaedic Surgery rotation based at The Middlesex Hospital in London. Mr.Cullen has undertaken fellowships in the UK studying foot and ankle surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore, Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, and in Dallas, USA as part of a British Orthopaedic Foot Surgery Society travelling fellowship.

Mr.Cullen was appointed as a Consultant in the Foot & Ankle unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust, Stanmore in August of 2005. Mr.Cullen's practice is entirely foot and ankle based, he has published papers on the subject and he has an ongoing interest in research within the department. Nick is a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Society, and the London Foot Group. He is involved in teaching MSc students, other surgeons and higher surgical trainees on the London Orthopaedic rotations and The Stanmore Foot course.

Mr.Cullen's Practice at Bushey & Harpenden deals solely with problems of the foot and ankle, his interests include sports injuries, bunion, toe deformity, arthroscopy, arthritis and tendon disorders. He works closely with the physiotherapy department, podiatrists and orthotists to provide a comprehensive service of care for a broad spectrum of foot and ankle disorders tailored to each patients needs. 

Nick Cullen lives locally with his wife and their two children. He is a sports fanatic, being interested in most sports notably rugby union, an ex amateur player, now an ardent spectator, he enjoyed his 5 yrs being one of the Orthopaedic surgeons with Saracens premiership rugby team. At other times Nick enjoys wine tasting, travelling, running and an all too infrequent round of golf.
