I have a research programme with full time neurosurgery PhD students developing the use of ultrasound elastography to define tumour boundaries in the brain.

Mr Neil Dorwood's practice covers all areas of the spine from the head to the coccyx, including degenerative disease, trauma, tumours, infections etc. He uses local injections for pain control and operates to relieve compressed nerves or bony instability. His preference is for functional restoration with disc replacements and for minimally invasive surgery as far as practicable.
He also performs some selected cranial surgery at Spire Bushey Hospital.
He does not treat patients below the age of 16 years.
