Michael Toma is a general ophthalmologist with a special interest in cateract surgery. He has performed over 10,000 procedures to date. He also has expertise in treatment of retinal disease, watery eyes and external eye disease. Mr Toma was trained on the North London Deanery rotation and served a fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in Corneal and External eye disease. He was appointed as Consultant Opthalmologist at Queen Elizabeth II Hopsital in 1996 and is presently Clinical Director for the Eye department at Queen Elizabeth II hospital.
Mr Toma's hobbies include flying model aircraft, boating and golf.
