Mr Michael Fox was appointed as a Consultant in the Peripheral Nerve Injury (PNI) Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust, Stanmore in 2008. The PNI Unit at the RNOH is a tertiary referral centre, treating complex cases of nerve injury that are referred from hospitals throughout the United Kingdom.
Michael graduated from University College London Medical School in 1996 and completed his senior orthopaedic training on the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital rotation in London. He has also undertaken fellowships in Paris, Los Angeles, Boston and Houston for nerve injuries and Salzburg (AO Fellowship) for trauma and shoulder surgery.
Currently actively involved in the training of higher surgical trainees on the London Orthopaedic rotations, Michael has an ongoing interest in research within the department and he is a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association. His practice at Spire Bushey mirrors his RNOH practice, dealing with nerve injuries, nerve tumours, nerve entrapment including neurogenic thoracic outlet and secondary procedures to restore function following nerve injury.
