Dr Ayazi underwent post graduate training in Anaesthetics at North Central School of Anaesthesia. In his final year of training he undertook a year of research in anaesthesia and pain management at University College London Hospital. He subsequently completed Advanced Training in Pain Medicine in London at National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery/ National Orthopaedic Hospital in 2007.
Dr Ayazi worked as Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia at The Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust till 2009. He holds a full time consultant post in Pain Medicine at Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Trust.
He treats a wide range of chronic pain conditions of the spine including neck, shoulder and back as well as neuropathic pains such as sciatica.
Dr Ayazi has a special interest in management of chronic pelvic pain such as pudendal neuralgia, pelvic girdle pain, vulvodynia and interstitial cystitis.
Dr Ayazi is a member of various national and international professional bodies promoting management of chronic pain. He lectures on different aspect of chronic pain nationally.
