My major non-medical passion in life is sailing, which I do predominantly in Cornwall where we have a house. My wife and I are both keen walkers and travel extensively to far-flung locations. I take a keen and active interest in sport and am a season ticket holder at the Arsenal. I am also a keen skier, usually skiing more than once per year and I play golf, although am no expert! I am interested in antiques, wine, ballet/contemporary dance, opera and theatre and regularly participate in or attend all of these. I have had a long standing interest in fast cars and have over the years owned a variety of different sports cars, a hobby which I continue.
