Our hospital has a dedicated orthopaedic ward and within our theatre complex, two of our four theatres have a special clean air flow system called laminar flow, which helps to ensure that joint replacements are carried out in the cleanest possible environment. All patients are treated in individual en-suite rooms and we have had no cases of hospital acquired infection (MRSA or C diff). Our housekeeping team ensure our facilities are cleaned to the highest standard and every single member of staff is trained in and carries out stringent infection control methods.
