Mrs Uma Gordon is an experienced Consultant in Reproductive Medicine & Surgery and additionally a Specialist in Reproductive Medicine (less than 5% of Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialists elect to take on this training).  As a Specialist Uma has undertaken an additional 3 years of training acquiring advanced competencies and skills in infertility, fertility surgery and reproductive endocrinology.  This ensures a comprehensive and thorough approach to her patient care for both male and female infertility issues.

As a Specialist Mrs Gordon is the Consultant Responsible for Assisted Reproduction Services at Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine in Bristol and previously Clinical Director at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine at the University of Bristol Priory Road.

Mrs Gordon is an accredited specialist in Reproductive Surgery.  As well as expert knowledge and practice in assisted conception techniques Mrs Gordon has a special interest in male infertility and is the Lead for Surgical Sperm Recovery Services at Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine.

Mrs Gordon is the RCOG Sub-Specialist Programme Director for Bristol, supervising and training doctors in Reproductive Medicine as well as organising Study Days for GPs.  She is also the Module Leader for Reproduction & Development MSc at the University of Bristol (www.bristol.ac.uk/red-msc/modules/).
Mrs Gordon maintains an active interest in research and has authored many publications.
