Mr Webb has a broad training in orthopaedic and trauma surgery in Bristol and Oxford. He has been awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training and is therefore privileged to be listed in the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council. He also undertook a fellowship at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre in Australia. This is a prestigious unit, which treats national and international athletes from the whole of Australia and provided the medical staff in charge of running the Sydney 2000 Olympics. During his time there, Mr Webb was trained in the latest techniques of arthroscopic day care surgery, which result in rapid patient recovery and subsequent rehabilitation.

Mr Webb is responsible for tutoring medical students, physiotherapists and nursing staff, and regularly lectures at national and international meetings. He is also orthopaedic adviser to the Rugby Football Union, Bath and Bristol Rugby Clubs, Bristol City Football Club and Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.
