After graduating from King’s College London, I have worked as a Dietitian since 2002 and I specialised within the area of Gastroenterology within a year of qualifying. Since qualification I have worked for the NHS at North Bristol Trust as a Dietitian and I set up my private practice in 2007.
As well as my main speciality in Gastroenterology, I have also worked as a Dietitian for the STEPS Eating Disorders team and more recently started to take on food allergy patients. I have an interest in both inpatient and outpatient work and my inpatient work involves both nutritional support and the use of therapeutic diets.
I am trained by King’s College London in the low FODMAP diet for use in IBS or other Gastroenterology conditions. I also contributed to the British Dietetic Association guidelines on Irritable Bowel Syndrome, published in 2012.
