Dr Victoria Samuel is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist providing psychological therapy to adults, children and families. Victoria works collaboratively with young people and adults using evidence-based approaches to help them understand and overcome a range of difficulties including: anxiety; anger; depression; panic; phobias; obsessive compulsive disorder; and adjustment to loss. Victoria is experienced in using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy and mindfulness based approaches.
Victoria has advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR); a highly effective intervention for resolving symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She is particularly experienced in working with people who have experienced road traffic accidents, helping them to reduce travel anxiety and prevent flashbacks.
Psychological therapy can be self-funded but if you have private healthcare, please enquire if your provider will authorise treatment; Victoria is registered with all leading providers.
