Tom Cobley qualified in Dentistry in 1985 from Newcastle University, he qualified in medicine MBChB from Manchester University in 1993. He started his basic surgical training leading to FRCS Edinburgh in 1998.
In 1989 he completed his post-graduate training in dentistry, leading to the Fellowship in Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Glasgow 1989 (FDS, RCPS). Mr Cobley subsequently qualified in medicine MBChB at Manchester University in 1993 and started his basic surgical training leading to FRCS Edinburgh in 1998.He then did two years of higher surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery leading to Specialist in Oral Surgery. This was followed by six years of higher surgical training in Plastic Surgery in the South West, gaining the FRCS (Plast) in 2003.After gaining entry to the Specialist List in Plastic Surgery Mr Cobley undertook Specialist Training Fellowships at Great Ormond Street, East Grinstead and Southern India in Cleft Lip & Palate Surgery. Mr Cobley is one of the NHS plastic surgeons at the Regional Plastic Surgery Bristol at Frenchay Hospital.
