Rouin Amirfeyz completed his higher surgical training in Trauma & Orthopaedics on Bristol Rotation. During this time he developed an interest in upper limb surgery, specifically elbow, wrist and hand surgery. He underwent sub-speciality training in Nottingham (interface hand fellowship) and Sheffield (revision elbow shoulder and elbow surgery and sports surgery). He has been appointed as a consultant upper limb surgeon in Bristol Royal Infirmary. His practice comprises of both secondary and tertiary elective and trauma referrals. These include rheumatoid surgery, osteoarthritis surgery , joint replacement, complex fracture management, arthroscopy and sports surgery. He has a special interest in research, has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles and has authored a number of key chapters in orthopaedic textbooks.
