Mr Anthony Ward has been practising as a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon in Bristol since 1993, after completing his orthopaedic training in Bristol and Plymouth, UK and Pittsburgh, USA. He completed a fellowship in hip and knee reconstruction surgery with special expertise in pelvic and hip trauma disorders. He is experienced in general orthopaedic surgery, particularly the surgery of arthritis and injuries to the hip, knee and lower limb, including arthroscopic "keyhole" techniques. Mr Ward is a member of the teaching faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons. He has lectured and represented research and clinical work at international meetings.
