    Professional profile:
    My private practice mirrors my NHS practice (based at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children). I see patients that are referred to me usually via their General Practitioners and who have a number of different problems. This will include general paediatric problems and in particular respiratory issues such as children with cough and wheeze. During the consultation that usually lasts up to 45 minutes there is an opportunity to discuss in detail any medical issues about which the family has concern and to perform a thorough clinical examination then to form and discuss a management plan. This plan is then summarised in a letter that I send to the referring doctor with a copy also sent to the family home.
    Personal profile:
    I am married with two young children who are at school in Bristol. As a family we try hard to balance school and work commitments with music, craft and sport. In addition, I like to race my bicycle.
